Water mill..., a photo from Wielkopolskie, West

Photographer's Note

During my bicycle trips, I visited an old inoperative water mill from 1929 in the town of Slawin.
Will show some interesting photos.

Slawin is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sieroszewice, within Ostrów Wielkopolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 20 kilometres, east of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

Today we became neighbours again. ;-)
The old building could have needed some fresh paint, but I guess nobody would want to spend the money or time on an abandoned building. But it still looks quite good and photogenic on its brick foundation. Your bicycle looks in better shape. ;-)

Hello Krzysztof,

The red brick base and the weathered rust red and brown wooden façade of the old water mill provide a superb warm cold color contrast with the blue sky. Good sharpness and framing too. Tfs!

Hello Krzysztof,
During the winter months, the leafless branches do not hinder a photo of the old mill from that point of view.
Built on a brick base, the rest of the mill is made of wood.
Your bike adds more depth in the photo.

A picture with your bicycle in foreground where you makes all the nice pictures.
With a car can you not see the much detail what you see with the bicycle.
An excellent composition and nice presentation too.

Your bicycle has become an eye-grabbing, focal feature in the lead-up to the old water mill. I think it was a good idea to include; it does not take attention away from the mill but does add interesting details as an introduction. It also adds depth and scale to this very well exposed photograph.

This water mill seems very old, with the remarkable wooden building, the trees in its surroundings give it a lot of charm, the same as the bicycle is a good bonus, I think it must be the bike with which you do these tours.
Optimal brightness management and sharpness.
