Snow queen in red, a photo from Mazowieckie, East

Photographer's Note

I have some ideas about what to show today (if anything). The view of the mangroves on Zanzibar, fabulous view from my window today after the big snowfall in the night, or this one.
Before yesterday I went with the camera to Lazienki Park, First I went near the Chopin monument. There I saw this rather surprising scene. It looked like a photo session. But who could be this girl in a beautiful exotic dress sitting on the snowy bench? I could take some stolen pictures, the girls saw me and didn't react. I heard that they were speaking Polish. I hope you like it.

Hello Malgo,
This was an opportunity not to be missed. I would have loved it, and Craig too. I feel sorry for those who would have been too shy to take these photos.
Certainly the main photo is the best composition, thanks to the inclusion of the photographer. The WS give us a closer look at the strange woman and her clothes. You can show the mangroves another day, but a lady in red surrounded by snow will always be nicer.

Hello Malgo,

I don't have a problem with shyness but more often than not when I try to take a photo of such scenes I get shooed away and told 'official photographers only', even in a public setting. The snow queen is looking at you! Tfs!

You must have been surprised to come upon such a scene but, how fortunate that you had your camera to record this.

I am shivering for the model just looking at her!
As an interesting shot, I would imagine that yours is more interesting than that of the photographer. You have captured a lovely connection between the two.
Why did I immediately imagine the photographer as male .. it is a lady!

Hello Malgo,a unique opportunity to get these shots. I would love to know why she was dressed this way, and why the photo shoot.
A well balanced composition.
The red costume stands out so well against the snowy background.

Hi Malgo,

You have captured well the action of the photographer and of his model. The point of view is showing the details of the trees. The reflection of the light on the snow is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

For me the 1st WS is a masterwork,but i agree with your choice for the main pic to give us the exact idea of what happens. Maybe influenced by the 'Snow Queen', the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen?
Since there was still snow on the bench this lady will in any case have had cold buttocks :)
It looked like a beautiful clear day to go to the park.
In our country all snow has already disappeared.

Hello Malgo,
A great observation from this snowy and sunny park and a well-timed shot with this photographer and the lady her in red dress. The white veil makes a good connection with the snow around her, really as though she were a snow queen.

Nice photo, original with snow, interesting scene, pleasant with this warm rays of sun. Sometimes we want take a photo subject and surprise it's an another POV or subject so photogenic ... the pleasure of photos !

What a capture! This is a photo I would have taken gladly too! Besides, you have more snow here than on mine taken in Eger. It was only visible a bit on the streets. Thank you for your kind words on that photo anyway! :)

A rather unusual scene, certainly it was to capture it, very well on your part, one wonders what a girl dressed as a little princess is doing, sitting on a park bench surrounded by snow, while her photographer is well equipped.
Colorful, sharpness and luminosity are captured effectively.
Very good composition, magnificent presentation.
