Photographer's Note

The Brzeg Castle is a historical Renaissance residence in Poland, now the Museum of the Silesian Piast Dynasty. It is located in Brzeg in the southwestern part of Poland, about 50km from Wroclaw.
The history of the monument dates back to the 1st half of the 13th century.
It was originally a Gothic castle. From 1311 to 1675 it was the residence of the Piast dynasty. The appearance of the castle changed five times during the Middle Ages. The residence was then completely rebuilt and became one of the the most beautiful Renaissance palaces in Europe.
After the Second World War it was turned into the museum. I the rooms you can see a collection of Silesian art from the period 15th to 18th century. There are sculptures, old coins, several altars, ceremonial clothing and armour, and also tombs of the rulers in castle crypts.

In my photo the courtyard and cloisters of the castle.
In WS: the gate building of the castle.
