Photographer's Note

The Aula Leopoldina is a beautiful Baroque Hall in the main building of the University in Wroclaw. The Aula is named after the Austrian Emperor Leopold who founded the university in 1702.
The painting on the ceiling depicts the apotheosis of God's wisdom . Portraits on the walls depict the founding fathers of the University. Some years ago four of them were stolen and two have yet to be returned.
Aula Leopoldina is now mainly used as part of a university museum, as well as a place to circumvent the major university events (such as matriculation).
It is not allowed to take photos with a flash in the Aula.
