The Cathedral Island In Wroclaw.
In the photo you can see one of buildings of Catholic church institutions, a cafeteria and the statue of St. John of Nepomuk. Statue was built in May 1732. It is the world's largest statue of this saint.
St. John of Nepomuk (1350-1393) was a canon in Prague, he was confessor to Queen Sofia, wife of King Wenceslas. The king suspected his wife of infidelity and asked the Nepomuk betraying the secrets of confession. Nepomuk refused and was imprisoned and then thrown from the Charles Bridge into the river Vltava.
