Photographer's Note

This is my 800 post on TE.

Lezyckie Rocks (African Savannah) - mountain meadow at an altitude of 750-790 m asl in the Central Sudetes Mountains in the Table Mountains.

Lezyckie Rocks are located at the foot of the Mt. Corner (Naroznik) to Fox Pass (Lisia Pass) near the road from Duszniki, by Lezyce to Karlow, next the now deserted hamlet Upper Lezyce (Lezno).

It is a vast mountain meadow, located on the entire surface of the Rogowa Kopa (790m asl), which rises on the top floor of the middle of the Table Mountains dozen scattered small rocks from the Miocene period, with a height of 3-4 m, remaining after erosion and weathering of the upper level of sandstone Table Mountains. Rocks and lonely tree in the shape of umbrellas create an exotic impression. In conjunction with a vast meadow steppe character, waist-high grasses and flowering herbs and flowers, including European globe flower, known locally Rose of Klodzko, make it a commonly accepted name for this area African Savannah. Because of the unique vegetation of meadow-bog and scenic protection area established here close.
