Photographer's Note

Yesterday was a Memorial Day in Israel for the Holocaust victims.
April 18 1943… The uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto.
A day in history that will remind us: You can't kill the human soul !
Also: That is so easy to kill the human body.
Basically: All of the dwellers of the Ghetto died within few short days and, no… THERE WAS NO OUTSIDE HELP for them…
And, it happened in the middle of the huge country. In the middle of the huge, highly civilized continent.

How easy is to forget? It was so loooong ago…!
And, maybe not even a truth ?
You know… There are people saying many different things…
Who can really know how it was…???

He shook his hand many, many times… Dozens of times…On the stairs, on the carpet, on the sidewalk, in front of, inside and outside… Wherever there were cameras and photographers - Mr. Putin shook the hand of that man.
Long, heartfelt handshake… With the smile… With the patting on the shoulders… Rubbing elbows… Smile…
He shook the hand of the man who promised to do it - again.
