Grand Theatre in Poznan
Poznan is the fifth largest city in Poland (population 550,000), it is the capital of the region of Greater Poland. The city is a center of commerce, industry and international trade fairs. It is also a culture and university center, there study about 130,000 students at all institutions of higher education. In Poznan there are also an opera, philharmonic, ballet, theaters, cinemas, museums, art galleries, orchestras.

In the picture you can see the Grand Theatre in Poznan, a neoclassical opera house, named after famous Polish composer Stanislaw Moniuszko. The building was designed by German architect Max Littmann according to the rules of classical architecture of ancient Rome.
The first presentation in 1910, was the opera "The Magic Flute" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
