Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan
The first university - Jesuit College - was founded in 1611.
Current university lectures began in 1919, 308 years after the formal opening of the university and today the university educates 47,000 students at fifteen faculties. On the picture you can see the Collegium Minus, now the seat of the rector and the central administration of the University, the building was built in the years 1905-1910.
