Opatówek town visited during a bicycle trip.
Opatówek is a town of situated near 40 km nord-east from Ostrów Wielkopolski, county of Kalisz County in the province of Greater Poland.

The iron bridge in Opatówek - a park bridge, erected in 1824 in a palace and garden complex; the oldest cast-iron bridge in Poland.
It is a single-span, arched bridge with four cast iron main girders. Each girder is composed of three bolted segments. The footbridge is supported by stone supports with a span of 10.30 m. The length of the supporting structure is 13.80 m and the width of the platform is 3.50 m. It is assumed that the bridge was cast at the Roechling brothers' steelworks in Saxony. The date of construction of the bridge, 1824, is cast together with the central segment of the girder.
