Silence before the storm, a photo from Slaskie, West

Photographer's Note

There is no place for silence in the Beskids Mountains while holiday time in Poland. People look in every nook and cranny to find the quiet place for grilling and having fun. After the tourist season such image will be normal but in this moment it is very hard to take the photo with a water standing still.
Żywieckie Lake is a very young artificial water body in the south of Poland. The surface of lake is 1000 ha. It is surrounded by mountains. At 38 meters high dam there is a hydroelectric power station. For people who like air sports it's worthy to visit nearby mountain Żar. There you can see aviation shows or try flying the hang glider.

Very atmospheric shot Kinga. It has a real sense of calm with all those subdued colours. I also like the balance between the boat and the buoy floating the the stillness.
