Photographer's Note
Cologne Agnes - Worker colony was founded for the zinc smelter workers "Agnes" in Dąb, now district of Katowice.
Ironworks "Agnes" was founded in 1842 by the steel Inspector Chorzela inhabited in adjacent district named "Oak". During the first Silesian uprising in the colony lasted a short battle with a detachment of insurgents defending Grenzschutz transformer station. In 1924,colony Agnes was connected with the neighboring municipality Józefowiec to community Wełnowiec. In 1951 the entire village became part of Katowice. Currently, only fragments are preserved nineteenth century buildings.

It is a simple subject , but I like a lot the way you've managed it . The framing is excellent , but what is the most impressive , are the wonderful strong colors , here , and the superb light .

I remember me Katowice, no I was never in this city, but I remember the WAR II on these place with the a lot victims!

Salut Tomasz,
Très jolie photo bien présentée dans un bel éclairage qui nous permet de bien voir les détails de la vieille brique. La porte jaune attire l'attention et renforce la photo. Un scène agréable à regarder et excellente harmonie de couleurs.
