Photographer's Note

Stegna is a fishing and tourist village in northern Poland, located on the Baltic Sea on the Vistula Spit.
The most important monument of Stegna is the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is a half-timbered church built by Protestants in the years 1681-1683. Since 1945 the church belongs to the Catholic parish. On the tower of the church there is a bell that survived the fire of the old wooden church (1643) and it still strikes the twelve noon.
