Aquaman 2, a photo from Pomorskie, West

Photographer's Note

I am not sure whether you have watched the movie "Aquaman". I loved it. It has some adventure, romance, action, fantasy, suspense, but also something interesting for all TrekEarth members: it is filmed in beautiful locations which may serve as a travel inspiration. Ladies just love the very handsome Jason Momoa. I suppose Amber Heard is beautiful too, although I am sure everybody has heard about the multiple past-divorce lawsuits between her and her ex-husband Johnny Deep (THE Pirate of the Caribbean). The sequel movie, Aquaman 2, may be out next year, and there are a lot of news about it recently, sometimes more in the context of the Deep-Heard conflict, which occasionally turns into a farce.

The reason I used it in this photo title is because it is my second photo of this fountain, a sequel. It is featuring Neptune, a classic version of the Aquaman.

My previous photo of the Neptune fountain:

was from a very different angle with lovely colorful townhouses in the background. The light was not great but it was still a relatively bright day. Here for a change the weather was heavily cloudy and I show the Neptune now from a different, I suppose a more classic angle. What I found interesting is that if you compare these two Neptune poses it is hard to imagine that they make the same figure. In this photo the pose is so very strong and feels stable, while in the previous version the Neptune looks more as he was dancing, a very different feeling depending on the angle.
It was hard to avoid people and choose an angle from which the whole silhouette was set against the sky so I am not too happy about the outcome. The light was far from optimal so I used some processing mainly with the focus on Neptune itself.

Hello Mariuz,
Placed well the neptune and fountain between the red bricks buildings on both side beyone.
The iron-wrought gate and fence is marvelous art element as well & animate the main object.

Hello Mariuz,

Gdansk looks like a stylish and elegant city and well worth a visit. Good sharpness and diffused light. The fg fountain is well placed between the 2 framing red brick buildings. Tfs!

A great photo of this fountain and the main sculpture of it in the middle rising up from behind the beautifully decorated gate. The beautiful façades on both sides add a nice frame as well as some nice warm tones to this cloudy sky.

I'm afraid I've never heard of the movie but the sculpture is good and so is the photo with the rows of old Gdansk buildings framing it.

A beautiful photo with the magnificent monument to Neptune, which stands out well against the cloudy sky, beautiful perspective of the street from which we see a little and we guess as much, good job with the iron fence.
Excellent POV, with very good lighting, color and sharpness to enjoy the details.

I really like this composition. The wrought-iron gate in the foreground is beautiful, and Neptune looks pretty good, too. :-) The colorful houses in the background really brighten the scene, and I like the different architectural styles, too. Take care!
