Motlawa reflections, a photo from Pomorskie, West

Photographer's Note

I was walking near the Gdansk old Port. The reflections of the old buildings - in particular of the "Zurak" (Old crane) on the Motlawa river was so fascinating...but it was a difficult shot since I did not have a tripod with me.
So..I saw a little wall, I put the camera on and shot.
that's the risult...hope you will enjoy!

Hi silvio,

the composition is great, badly it has much light anf few contrast. It is easy to correct on a photo editor software. See the workshop.
I suggest you a more close diafragm next time. About f/15. With a more longe expore if needed.
I really like the reflections, I think I will try a night boat photo some day.

Hi Silvio!

I love this city and this place! Motlawa and old town with Żuraw ( not Żurak as You wrote) looks amazing from this POV. Very good reflections and lights.

di questa foto mi piace soprattutto il riflesso. Lo sfondo sembra poco definito, forse anche per via delle condizioni meteo

This photo shows incredibly Polish towns' atmosphere. i love Gdansk and I love thos shot.

I like a lot the composition of the photo.
It´s unusual, different from the photos taken from the bridge over Motlawa. It looks great with the boat in the foreground.
