Photographer's Note

Cathedral of The Holy Cross in Opole.
The oldest mention of the church dates back to 1223. The first gothic church was established in 1295, but it was destroyed in a fire in 1415, the city lacked the money to rebuild, and in 1470 was built the church, which has survived to this day, over centuries it has been expanded and many changes were made. The church has a baroque furniture, but beautiful Gothic vaults survived to this day. In the picture you can see the ceiling of the central nave.
