Photographer's Note

The city Opole is located in Upper Silesia, on the Oder river, and is the capital of the region, it has 125 000 inhabitants. The history of the city Opole is begins in the 8th century, the first settlement was found on the Pasieka Island in the middle of the Oder river. The city is a cultural, economical and university center of the region. Since 1963, there have been organized annual National Festivals of Polish Song, the city has a large amphitheater with 3700 seats.
