Photographer's Note

Szrenica (1362 m a.s.l.) is a mountain peak situated in the western part of Giant Mountains (Karkonosze) on the border of Poland and Czech Republic. On the top is a popular mountain hut.
The name of the summit is derived from the Polish word szron - hoar frost.
Even though Szrenica is not a high mountain it offers climatic and snow cover conditions very similar to the Alpes at the altitude of 2000 m above sea level and provides excellent skiing conditions on 20 km of ski pists along Szrenica slopes. You can reach the summit by chair lift (two parts, with the transfer station). There are 3 routes for downhill skiing and two tourist trails across the summit for Czech and Polish tourists.
The summit overlooks Szklarska Poreba, one of the most popular tourist resorts in Poland.

Pleasant and scenic path through beautiful growth of dwarf pines. A relaxing refreshment awaits at that magnificent mountain hut.

Od razu bym poszła tą ścieżką między kosówką. Rzeczywiście wygląda wysokogórsko. Śliczne zdjecie. A widok na Szklarska Porębe tez przedni.

Deux points de vue radicalement différents. Un grand merci pour la photo présentée en atelier. Ce petit chemin donne envie de découvrir encore plus loin.

Hello Ryszard,
This is a lovely scenery and the mountain hut has a marvellous setting. The narrow road leads us through the forest until it disappears behind the bend. The colours are perfect and the bright light is well managed.
