Photographer's Note

In the forrest again.... This time a part of the forrest in the Owl Mountains, on the Jugowska Pass. In original this photo was highly saturated because of very strong lighting and incredible green grass. I tried to pot some spirit into this scene and I have strongly desaturated this photo, but left some color on the grass to differ it from the rest of the scene. Hope You like it!

No nie jest ³atwo fotografowaæ w tak ostrym s³oñcu przy tak znacznych kontrastach sceny. ja tk¿e mam z tym k³opoty i raczej uciekam od tak trudnych sytuacji. Dlatego podziwiam Twoje umiejêtno¶ci, które sprawi³y, ¿e ten kadr bardzo mi siê podoba i co wiecej zacheca mnie do ponowienia prób w tym kierunku. Bardzo ³adna ostro¶æ i jej g³êbia.

Czesc Grzesiu. Dobry kadr, i mimo ze zdjecie kolorowe, to te kolory bardziej wplywaja na mnie jak b/w. Nie sa za mocne, jaskrawe, tylko wrazliwe i dostepne. Bardzo fajne zdjecie. Myslales o b/w?

I look to you WS, I prefered this one, alone the PP and the colours are disappeared in this picture, I feel well the softness of the grass also are the composition very well.

Hi Greg,
Although the WS is very good, I like the desaturated version here, which gives special flavour and ambience to the forest scene. Its almost like a painting. With the largely B&W motif plus a light green accent, the shadow effects are heightened. Very fine work, Greg.

Grzegorz I really love the soft touch on the forest floor here. You have a real good eye for composition too. Good balance in this frame in placing the trees in the upper right only...and the shadows and highlights are a real treat to view! Good work!
