Photographer's Note

It is said that Zakopane is the most famous Polish city in the world. Krupówki, is undoubtedly the most famous street in Poland.

No wonder that attracts crowds of tourists here. Some come here for the mountains, others to the unique atmosphere, and still others to see famous faces, but everyone visiting Krupówki. Here spend the evenings and sometimes nights.

Krupówki autumn are quiet and peaceful. Significantly lower number of tourists can easily find free space in restaurants and free accommodation in private houses, guest houses and hotels. October, November and April are the only months of the year, which can be said that in Zakopane is the ,,low season''. Many ''editors'' and ,,papers experts'' who do not know the season for walking in the mountains, or skiing on holiday with persistence herald the end of the season already in mid-August, when the hiking season has just begun. Anyone who saw the fall Tatras knows what I mean. But even in these ,,winterizing'' the months of April and November lovers of mountains and Zakopane come, although in smaller numbers. Short days and will compensate the lack of uncertain weather, traffic, availability of parking, quiet and slightly lower prices of accommodation.
