Maria Rydlowa – historyk literatury, edytor. Wieloletnia redaktorka krakowskiego Wydawnictwa Literackiego. Autorka wielotomowego opracowania Listów Stanisława Wyspiańskiego (Wydawnictwo Literackie, Kraków 1979–1998), opiekunka "Rydlówki" – Muzeum Młodej Polski w Krakowie.
Wnuczka Lucjana Rydla, znanego młodopolskiego poety.

Granddaughter of Lucjan Rydel, Young Poland famous poet.

Young Poland (Polish: Młoda Polska) is a modernist period in Polish visual arts, literature and music, covering roughly the years between 1890 and 1918. It was a result of strong aesthetic opposition to the ideas of Positivism. Młoda Polska promoted trends of decadence, neo-romanticism, symbolism, impressionism and art nouveau.

ależ nieszczęśliwie się złożyło, że jedno oko tej pani zasłoniła furtka... szkoda ogromna bo zdjęcie bardzo "ciepłe"...

Hi Jan. The surprise. Meeting with an important woman. The fence or the half-open door is also a symbolic character, which fits perfectly to this photo. For me, this photo is kind of portrait. Maybe it would work in black and white better. Good action shot. Regards, Wolfgang.
