Swimming pool in Auschwitz in 1944, asked the insurance company Allianz, which insured the concentration camp (and attracted contributions) from accidents. They began with the bombing and the insurer requested that the fire was built swimming pool. And if they fire, then pushed the camp VIPs to be able to swim in it. Done so in this tiny wells and the position for jumping competitions held here swimming for a bowl of soup and a slice of bread.
