Fresh snow does not stay pristine for long on the frozen surface of Zemborzyce Reservoir in Eastern Poland. There are always lots of people ice angling, sleighing, walking and even... cycling.

Hello Kasia,
A wonderful composition of few but very strong ingredients. The many tracks may have "damaged" the snow but have created a fine pattern that fills the huge empty area very nicely. The man and his bike are well placed near the corner, where they don't do any further harm to the pattern.

this is for sure one of those photos where including a human presence in the scene is so vital.
glad to see that you left out the skyline for added visual impact.

Czesc Kasiu,
swietna i przyciagajaca nasza uwage scena.Prostota jest tutaj dla mnie najwieksza zaleta.Tylko wszechobecny snieg i rowerzysta w oddali.Podoba mi sie ten kadr i sposob w jaki umiescilas rowerzyste w kadrze-swietnie przelamuje monotonie kolorystyczna i kontrastuje ze sniegiem.Bardzo interesujaca praca.

pomyslowy kadr, dobry strzal i koncowy efekt. Wyszlo tak troche graficznie. Zreszta zima przy pochmurnej pogodzie najlepiej sie prezentuje w B&W.

A lovely composition here. I like the simplicity here. A fine mixture of natural created patterns and the one created by human activity on the ice. The man with his bike is well placed in the frame. Great subject for a b&w shot. Great work:) TFS.

Skoro juz ogladam Twoje zdjecia z Lubelskiego trafilem tutaj...
Bardzo fotogeniczna scenka. Taka zima chyba raczej rzadko zaglada do UK.
Rower i rowerzysta sa oczywiscie jak "cherry on the cake".
