Although the little village of Undredal has a population of only around 100 people, its one and only shop is very smart and also appears to be very well stocked. It has a Post Office, is a general store and also holds a remarkable collection of souvenir items to sell to tourists, most probably at extortionate prices.

Here a group of tourists stand outside the store, swithering whether to enter the shop or save their money, while three local men talk together at a table on the left.

But the wisest one of all is the lone visitor on the far right who has decided to wander down to the jetty to stand, admire and soak in the beauty of Aurlandsfjorden and its surrounding mountains.

ISO 200, 1/320 sec at f/8, focal length 24mm.
