At The Glacier, a photo from Sogn og Fjordane, South

Photographer's Note

This is a glacier in the mountains around the lake Lovatnet in Lodalen/Stryn/Norway. It was possible for me to make a photograph under good light conditions because it was on the other side of the lake where our cabin was placed.

For this picture i used a Minolta Maxxum 9xi film camera with a Sigma AF 400/5.6 tele lens and a Fuji Pro 160C film. Tripod.

A wonderful glacial view ... with mist, clouds, and gentile water falling. Views like this have a majestic and scary feeling as the glacier hangs there and I am sure at times must break off pieces that fall into the depths. Well done!

Good morning Peter,
Vapors rise from the lower part of the cascade, as the glacier was not made of ice.
Beautiful nature scenery, well applied the diff. task of WB on image.

Dear Peter, impressive glacier it looks like a volcano, some mist and good light, I can observe the work of erosion on the mineral, a brillant first post
