A "nothing special" shot from Olden, our first port of call on our little cruise of the Norwegian fjords in late April.

Apart from its rather attractive old church, Olden is a somewhat unexciting little place with a population of just around 500, located at the mouth of the Oldeelva river at the northern end of the Oldedalen valley on the southern shore of the Nordfjorden. But I did like the brightly painted houses which stood out nicely against the surrounding mountains and a somewhat dark and overcast sky.

In my workshop you can see an older, more traditional building just a hundred metres or so away.

ISO 100, 1/800 sec at f/8, focal length 28mm.
