Photographer's Note

It was a rainy day when we started our tour-de-Norway in Oslo. The Vigeland sculpture park was busy with asian tourist groups, trying to hold the umbrella with one hand while taking snaps with the other - as was I, with the exception that I've got an umbrella-holder in the person of Cedric :-)

This image was taken through one of the iron-doors that enclose the Monolith a over 17 meters high obelisk formed of 121 interwinded figures. The whole park has over 200 fullsize human sculptures, crafted solely by the artist Gustav Vigeland.

Technically I didn't do much, an open aperture already did most of the fx and mood. In PS I added some vignetting to the corners as the white sky was a bit distracting.
