Photographer's Note

In Norway, lots of people still use "real" x-mas trees even if plastic trees are becoming popular here too. When x-mas is over most of these real trees end up in the trash. Where I live we do it differently; we have a x-mas tree bonfire. People bring their trees, you can buy coffee or hot chocolate and waffles and hot dogs and everybody has a good time (especially the kids who seem to love hot dogs and open flames ;-)

This is my first shot with the Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel). Shot at ISO 400 with the 18-55 kit lens. To see a more "dramatic" shot of the bonfire, have a look at
