Photographer's Note
This photo is from the local steel plant where they have stored many thousand tons with scrap. The scrap storage is like small mountains over the city. The yellow thing to the left, is the back part of a enormous crane. Nice backlight from some spotlight in the background.
I forgot to say, the scrap in the middle are "Shredder scrap" which react with water if it's oily. That's why it's steaming. Hope that explain the blur in the photo.

Hallo Tommy
Now here is a scene that has great potential.
You have chosen a quite interesting motiv, lots of good elements that bring out both the impression of the dirty steel plant and the heat of the smelters. At least that is what I hope that light is :)
The photo seems slightly blurred, a little bit of motion I might suspect. Try using a slightly faster exposure next time.

Hi Tommy,
An interesting shot. I do not really understand the blur in the picture, since you worked from a tripod and your subject is static. Not having your exposure settings, I have no clue what you did to get to this results.
Nevertheless, I like how you went on an adventure to capture a world people would normally not go to and especially not at night! In that sense, a true TrekEarth picture in the way it explores a place not explored by photography that often. Well done!
Greetings, Dennis
