My bicycle trip 10 km of my home, but in the Netherlands.
Normally it is forbidden to drive to the Netherlands without a valid reason, for my urgent family visit.

History
HEILLE Netherlands

From the 13th century onwards, Heille was a craft in the Brugse Vrije, which also covered part of present-day Belgium, but this came to an end in 1664, when the border between the Northern and Southern Netherlands was definitively established.
From 1797 Heille was an independent municipality, but in 1880 it was added to the municipality of Sluis, after which further reclassifications followed.
The Dutch part of Heille has traditionally consisted of two hamlets, namely Oud-Heille and Nieuw-Heille, which were separated by the Stierskreek. Nieuw-Heille is also called 'De Ronduit', after the word 'redoubt', a small fortification that used to be here.

I hope you like it.
