I wish every visitor a nice weekend, I hope you like it, these nice red tulips

These picture has been taken three year ago in Aardenburg Zeeland in the Netherlands.
I've posted.2010.02.03 one of the same series
Early in morning, one hours after sunrise, you can see that the tulips not completely are open, this gives a very nice effect on the tulip field.
I used a tripod and remote control
I love red tulips this is my favorite color.

History according to internet;
Tulips are flowers, and they are very much grown in the Netherlands. In the west (near Amsterdam) there are huge fields of tulips all who later grow up to around the world to be sold. Tulips are not actually from Holland, they are originally from Turkey. That was 400 years ago. And then with his traders came to the Netherlands. At the time the tulip was known they were not here to pay only the rich could buy tulips and were therefore used to show how rich you are not there. There are over 100,000 different kinds of tulips. Many different types of tulips are on the homepage of Kees Stoop, where among other each week a tulip of the week is appointed. Tulips are so well known in the Netherlands that they are also much used in art are a good example are the paintings of John Sayers. About taking care of tulips are sometimes strange things told, that if you include a needle into the top of the shaft crosses the flower does not hang limply, true or not, I don't know!
