Art impression on art object
This impressionistic street life reflection image is projected on a real Down Under artwork from the exhibition “DE OVERKANT” at the Lange Voorhout in The Hague.
A fortnight ago I told you that SHE’LL BE RIGHT
This time I Owe yoU an explanation for the artwork that is the background for the reflection of this impressionistic meeting of TE-artist.
You can find this explanation in the workshop

Hej Rob,
Dit is ook weer net een schilderij. "Compositie met drie fotografen" o.i.d. Bovendien ook een uitstekende compositie - en mooie kleuren.
Groeten,

Hi Rob. You know your reflections are hidden to certain degree and I like that aspect. It looks like you and Lars have been equally creative with these surreal pictures. You know that workshop is good too and would be great as a main post. tfs Rob.

Hej Rob,
this time you give us a real challenge by challenging yourself. As it is itself a projection (this is what we do with our captures here), there is the risk that we describe technical flaws which are not from you but from the original but what reason ever. Therefore I hesitated a bit before writing but the impression was too strong to resist too long. There is an overexposed part in the top, which is for a TE-capture disturbing, but not in the way used you describe. I let my eyes on it to enjoy.

The granularity of the mirror provides a strage but very successfull effect in the immressionist or perhaps pointilist manner... Given that, the interst of the image will come from what you put in from of the mirror and its composition.
A very intersting catch and an artist worth to follow.
All the best,
Emmanuel

haha, nice familiy portrait, Rob. Thank you for the IOU explanation in WS. This surface is fantastic for the impressionist effect - it really looks like one of those paintings from the 19th century art movement that Monet started ;-) What a good finding.

We were fooled until we saw the WS. Very creative use of reflections from one of the masters (Lars is the other one).

Bedankt.
Prettig weekend,
John.

Bonjour, mon ami Rob,
J'admire !
Amitiés.

Hi Rob,
I remember your posting "She'll be right," and I looked at the workshop. In short, I was led through the puzzle. Well done, a clever scheme that you have concocted. Who were the members of the TE-artists?
Warm regards,
Bulent

I must admit I was a little skeptical before opening the thumbnail.
But the reflection looks like a painting, almost an impressionist one. And as it comes from Netherlands and it's about dutch people, I enjoy this visual result.

This is quite an incredible photo in the rain ! It definitely looks more like a painting than like a photo.
Great composition too with the group on the right, and the person on the far right photographing the photographer :-)
Well done !
