Dutch Beauty, a photo from Zuid Holland, South

Photographer's Note

During one visit to the Netherlands, I was happy to make it in the tulip season.Seeing tulips mean also a visit to the famous Keukenhof gardens, which is by all means the best place in the world for tulip lovers.
This lady was a smiling hostess, and she seemed happy to let me take her picture.
I dedicate thic picture to SETENAY, also a keen TE member who is very excited at the idea of visiting Holland soon.

Bonjour Izzet,
Un portrait agréablement cadré. J'aime surtout le grain qui donne une touche nostalgique à l'image et le rouge/blanc/bleu qui semble symboliser la Hollande et un de ses merveilleux parcs.

PS: Le Parc Keukenhof est situé à Lisse, province Zuid-Holland.

Now I see why all those Dutch masters like Rembrandt, Vermeer and others painted so many portraits! Great shot, with lots of expression, and it never hurts to have a beautiful woman as a subject. Great work!

Nice colors. The shot seems a bit grainy on my screen. I have an almost identical shot in my collection. You are right, Keukenhof is THE spot to see tulips!! And than to say that the Dutch imported the first bulbs from Turkey!!
