Photographer's Note

On advise from Carper and Robbertjan I change the horizon and indeed the photo looks better.
This picture is taken at Kinderdijk (Alblasserwaard).

This windmill is build in 1738 by windmill-builder Teunis van de Werken. The original costs of this windmill was 9800,-- Dutch guilders, in Euro’s is that € 4447,05.
The early name of this windmill was “Heer De Focker”, the current name of this windmill is “Nederwaard Molen No.8”.

The type of this Windmill is a “Grondzeiler” en the function is “Boezemmolen” (drain the excess water from the polders to the river)

I tried to make an old looking post-card of this old windmill
In PS I removed the colours from the picture, then Increase Red in the Shadow and in the Highlights parts and Decrease Blue in the Shadow and in the Highlights part.

I hope you enjoy this.
