Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

My photograph shows the City Hall in Delft. It is a Renaissance style building on the Markt across from the New Church (Nieuwe Kerk). It is the seat of the city's government as well as a popular venue for civic wedding ceremonies. Originally designed by the Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser, it was been changed considerably over the centuries and was restored in the 20th century to its Renaissance appearance.

It is hard to realise that this is a reflection taken in the glass doorway the New Church. But what a fine building is visible in the reflection!

I will add a workshop in which you will be able to see me, with my camera, taking the photograph.

We were sheltering here, for a moment, from the rain.

I can't complain about the weather in the Netherlands, we have experienced this sort of weather for much of the year!

Hope your day is to your liking, Bev :-)
