Photographer's Note

The characteristic tower of the Oude Kerk is visible from many points of Delft.
The Oude Kerk (Old Church) is one of the most important monuments in Delft. It was built in 1246 in Gothic style. It is famous for its burial site of the world renowned painter, John Vermeer (1675).
The remarkable tower was established during 1325 to 1350. The nearby canal caused that foundations become unstable and the tower is tilted 2 meters from the vertical.
