Photographer's Note

Looking out of my window this morning - all is white with hoarfrost. So I decided to post this picture, taken last summer in Cadzand, the southernmost seaside resort of the Netherlands. In the background you can see the thin stripe of the Dutch peninsula Walcheren on the other side of Schelde estuary. My photo shows the situation when tide is coming in.

I would like to have a walk there now in these dunes - in this summerly weather, sensing the warmth of the sun, watching the big container ships, hearing the calls of the seagulls, observing the tides, smelling the fresh sea breeze ... well, enough dreaming, I have to scrape off the hoarfrost from my car's front shield now ;-)
