Tulip Time
The weather in the Netherlands is due to the cool springs suitable for the cultivation of tulips. The soil in the polder is drained continuously. This creates ideal conditions for the bulbs, who love well-drained but moist soil. There are so many varieties of tulips that the Dutch Garden and Agriculture Organization has divided them. Into several groups Within these groups one can find different kinds of weather. From mid-March to late May, the tulips transform large parts of the Netherlands to a colorful patchwork. If you go to the Netherlands in April to see it bloom, the tulips so you can see everywhere you look fields full of beautiful colors.
