Vreeland Revisited

Or what light can do to a photo: a couple of weeks ago, I posted this photo of the village of Vreeland, which was taken on an early Sunday afternoon while some heavy showers were approaching. I recently visited the village again and took a new picture from almost exactly the same POV, but this time it was around eight o’clock in the evening and a warm sunlight pierced the slightly haze in the evening sky.

Vreeland, on the border of the provinces of Noord-Holland and Utrecht, but located in the latter, is on the river Vecht and got city rights in 1265, yet is has no more than 1,500 inhabitants.
