Photographer's Note

The Bossu Huizen at the corner of Slapershaven with Grote Oost. These three houses have reliŽf paintings over their entire width in which the battle for the Zuiderzee is remembered and the victory of the Geuzen (the free Dutch) over the Spanish in 1573.
The houses are named after the Spanish Lord of Bossu, governer Maximiliaan de Hennin, who led the Spanish in this battle and was taken prisoner after his loss.
The Geuzen were outnumbered by the Spanish, but after six nights and six days they managed to take the Spanish flagship and won the battle.

I'm still trying to figure out a way how to get the whole story in one panorama. It will require a lot of photos and panorama stitching.
