Photographer's Note
The Cruquius Steam pump station was commisioned in 1847 along with two other pump stations, to pump dry the Haarlemmer meer for land reclamations.
The pumpstation could move 320 000 liter of water pr. minute. Today the station is a museum showing the water reclamation in holland, and the pump is now driven by hydraulics rather than steam, but visitors can still see the pumps working.

Hello Harry,
nicely taken clear and interesting shot from a good pov and well framed with the trees. The light is spot on and the colours are natural and well saturated.
Tfs and best wishes!

Hej Harry,
A very good shot of Cruquius! Last time I was there it was in scaffolding, but that was also for more than a year ago. You chose a good POV here and the flag is a nice bonus here. Good work!

A strange and interesting architecture, captured in a good light, within a pertinent cropping. Original.

Bonjour, mon ami Harry,
Très intéressante présentation de cette station servant à la récupération des eaux.
Cela devient un monument parmi les activités technologiques du dix-neuvième siècle.
Je te souhaite, mon ami Harry, d'excellentes fêtes de fin d'année.
Amitiés.
Philippe
