Photographer's Note

Hi!
Another picture from my National Geographic workshop near the Ankeveense Plassen (Amsterdam). We had to change Tele and Great Angle lenses to create tele-landscapes and great angle-landscapes. They told me that if you use a tele-lens the layers in the landscape are pushed together , which good create the effect that the objects are further away then they appear on the picture. This quite happened in this picture.

You see a yellow bench with an old firemen pomp for an extinguisher. I found this a nice scenery for a tele-landscape. Therefor I took a 300mm lens and created this composition. The birds flew suddenly in it, which create a new layer in this composition. So it fits perfect in the tele-effect.
