Photographer's Note

My ship for Sail 1990, the French three-masted bark Belem. On this side picture, the false white gun doors painted on the black hull are very easy to distinguish.
You will find other (and probably better) ones in my first two travelogues relating of that ship, but this is the best one I have from this visit in Amsterdam. Here, I had to crop the bottom of the image to get rid of the head of Daniel, the bossman of the ship, who was standing when manoeuvering the small boat from which the picture is taken. To balance the framing, I also cropped the top.
I post the original in workshop plus another view focussed this time on Daniel.
