Sloten (Sleat in frisian language) is a small city of Friesland.

Friesland ( in frisian, Fryslân) is a province locatd in the North West of Netherlants and part of the bigger region know as frise (part in Therlans, part in Germany). In Fiesland, they speak two languages: the Dutch and also the Frisian.

Hello Roger,

you have captured this typical northern atmosphere which I find so relaxing. These places are unique in Europe and I hope to get to know them better some day.

About the picture itself: The light is well managed resulting in good adjustment of all the other parameters.

Hello Roger,
I like these gabled buildings with their intricate decorations that are so evocative of Northern Europe. Good oblique perspective whilst the azure blue sky makes the perfect contrast with the red roof tiles. Superb detail to be seen in the brickwork. Bon dimanche!

Bonjour Roger,

La ligne diagonale de la rue est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir nles détails et les couleurs de l,architecture des maisons. La bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bon dimanche.

Tu as bénéficié d'une bonne lumière ainsi que d'un beau ciel bleu pour nous présenter ces maisons, dont je remarque les jolies ornementations architecturales de la partie supérieure des façades.

prima di tutto io ti devo fare i complimenti per la nitidezza di questa foto, assolutamente perfetta, dove è possibile apprezzare ogni sinfolo mattone delle case. Complimenti anche per la bella luce che enfatizza l'nteressante architettura di queste case. Una foto veramente piacevole, bravissimo!

Very nice houses from Friesland. Wonderful roof decoration. There is also small bench to relax and observe what is going on the street. Good composition and excellent colours. The contrast with the blue sky is awesome.

Charming old historic houses with the feel of oldie atmosphere, full of characters. Impressive, a well composed image well taken in subtle light and colors and lovely blue sky.
