ottima foto, splendida composizione e bella gestione delle luci che permette di ammirare sia il mare, che la città incluse le parti in ombre.
Complimenti sia per la foto che per l'albergo che hai scelto. Godere tutte le sere di una simile vista è stato sicuramente un piacere indipendentemente dal fatto che il più delle volte non eri nella veste di fotografo.
Attendo di vedere le ulteriori foto della tua vacanza.

lucky you, still travelling to malta with an infant! well, you found a nice hotel, look at the view! malta has long been in my destination list, while i travelled to some other countries when i had my schengen visa. hopefully next time :)
great reflections and nightscape over the city. with the little bit of medieval details, very attractive.

Nice to know that you and your family are all now safely home and I hope that you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday!

What a delightful view you had from your room and you have captured this "blue hour" view perfectly. The reflections on the smooth water are beautiful and the interactions between natural and artificial light are lovely. You have also composed this picture very well with the tall and beautiful church taking pride of place.

Gorgeous light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

cześć Mariusz, Byłam ciekawa, czy juz wróciłes z Malty. Miałeś fantastyczny widok z okna. Wspaniałe odbicia, ładne światła no i ciekawy kościół na wzgorzu. Piekne późne blue hour. czekam na dalsze zdjęcia z malty. na pewno masz wiele pieknych zdjęć, chociaż tak narzekasz.

Hello Mariusz,
Never mind the closeness to the shallow beach, you must have found one of the nicest balconies of Malta. This is a magic view with all these lights and their spectacular reflections. The many small boats are very nicely spread across the calm water. Getting the correct exposure time for this difficult light was certainly a "decisive moment".

Fantastic that you could enjoy such a beautiful view from the balcony of your hotelroom. When I visited Malta I didn't go to Mellieha but I have found that Malta is very small but so beautiful. I stayed in Valletta and also had a wonderful view from the little balcony of my room. Probably the only time I ever had a view from my room :) I have posted a picture of it.
Mellieha looks very nice with a district at the foot of the cliff and another one on top. The church stands majestically on the edge of the abyss. This is a great nightshot with the long vertical reflections of the light in the water and with the small boats spread over the bay.

Dear Mariusz

What a lovely place to go on vacation, I trust you and your young family had a lovely time. You make a good point, with a new baby, the type of vacation you now take will be adapted to the child. Don't worry, it will only be for the next 18 years or so ;)

But it has not affected your photography skills. The image is exquisite, a beautiful nocturnal shot. The stripes of light on the water are magical and the sharpness of the little boats are impressive despite the long exposure. Lovely colours and light. This is a real treat, thanks for sharing it with us.

What a beautiful view you were able to enjoy from your hotel room ! Great management of colours, light and reflections ; Now, was it the blue hour or night time ?
I remember you commenting my Malta photos earlier on in the year ! So, you have had yourt holiday and seem to have enjoyed it !
