Home "Sweet" Home, a photo from Bitola, West

Photographer's Note

This is a left-over from an old house in Bitola, right in the center of the city, just like a scene from a horror movie. It had nothing, only one wall and that scary feeling that it will fall any moment. But these days, this old house was ruined totally, someone bought the place and he's making a trade center there. I'll post a photo when it's done, then and now comparation:)

Zdravo pak.Ubava ti e idejata da se slika kukjata sto se uriva i sto mozebi poveke nema da ja ima.No jas mislam deka mozebi pak ke ja izgradat so istata fasada zaradi toa sto bi trebalo site gradbi na shirok sokak da se zastiteni so zakon.Vo sekoj slucaj slikata ti e odlicna.Super.

Thanks for the comment, this is an amazing shot because it fooled me, I thought it was actually a house with very reflective doors, its a very good optical illusion, because your shot is at the right angle, you have items that don't need to be in there like everything outside the roofline and the pillars on each side crop those out but great shot. and just seeing some of the tittles are you a classic rock fan? but great photos

Veke i ovaa fotografija e istorija bidejki i ovoj zid koj ti si go slikala go nema.Znaci veke ima istoriska vrednost.Do nekade se slozuvamso Starky , normalno deka na toa mesto ke iznikne kuka koja ke mora da nalikuva na onaa karakteristicna arhitektura na Sirokiot sokak, no sepak taa ke bide nova i kolku i da e identicna nikogas nemada bide tokmu ovaa koja se rusi neodamna.
Od umetnicki agol kompozicki e silna ... bas dome slatki dome ... sigurno ovaa fotografija bi iznudila solzi na nekoi koi izrasnale, se vljubile, ziveele tokmu vo ovaa kuka no i na nekoi nivni bliski prijateli.
Mi se dopaga isto taka i efektot koj se postignuvaso neboto ... se dobiva vpecatok kako toadae ogledalo efekt no ... toae samo eden obicen zid od moznite 4:)
Ubavaslika,go sledam tvojot napredok i veruvaj mi uzivam vo sekoja od niv, za moja sreka :)

Nice pov and an interesting idea. I like the reflection off the windows. I think I would have tried to shoot this more straight on. Anyhow well done.

Hello Gordana,
Nice shot with a great POV. I don't like the frame at all though I feel it is far too heavy for the photo but that is only a matter of taste. The image probably could have been a little sharper also.

Hi Gordana. The new trade center is unlikely to be as ornate as this old facade. In the UK we preserve the frontage of these old buildings and incorporate the new building behind. I think the image is a little soft and maybe the frame too heavy.
