It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. Its capital, Luxembourg City,
is one of the four official capitals of the European Union (together with Brussels, Frankfurt, and Strasbourg) and the seat of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the highest judicial authority in the EU.
Its culture, people, and languages are highly intertwined with its neighbors, making it a mixture of French and German cultures. Luxembourgish is the only national language of the Luxembourgish people, as defined by law.

Hi Costantino!

A moody and atmospheric shot on account of the fog. Good sharpness and soft lighting and muted colours. The tram tracks add perspective. Tfs!

This is among your better photos. You captured an atmosphere of autumn that may have seemed dull but that turned out quite exciting in the photo. You handled the haze and the limited light well and the strong diagonal accent makes the composition attractive.

Good composition with the diagonal rails and only one person in the distance.

A nice autumn view with these empty streets on a very foggy day. The houses emerge nicely from the fog. The diagonal tram tracks are well included in the foreground as well.

Mist is a very effective weather condition for creating atmosphere.
Your viewpoint was nicely chosen, with good lead lines from tramlines and lovely buildings receding into the distance.
The f/g clarity contrasts hugely with the mysterious, Misty b/g.

A superb photo of this foggy scene in Luxembourg. Well composed with the buildings and tram tracks on the diagonal. The top layer above the buildings is intriguing - is that a shadow of the buildings caught in the fog. An amazing capture.

Hi Costantino,
I am glad to see that you are trying to make a good use of the foggy weather while in Luxembourg. I am sorry that the weather is far from optimal. When you go abroat it would be good to have great wetaher for photography. Nevertheless you achieved a very interesting effect here. The elegant architecture made the foggy day still very eye catching.
I hope you will get some sunshine soon as well.

Fascinating, beautiful and strange capture, Constantino, certainly out of the ordinary. The top layers are strange. Is that the result of PP or some kind of weir effect of the fog? Whatever, intentional or not, I do like that effect very much. Great picture, thanks for sharing it.

The atmosphere in this photo is great. The fog adds a mysterious feeling, and since there is only one person in the frame, this looks like a ghost town. The beautiful buildings empty tram stop, and tracks on the ground are all wonderful details. Take care!
