Crashed

I was already thinking about posting these photos, but after yesterday’s TE-crash, they are probably even more fitting. The small square in front of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Luxembourg was a popular place for skateboarders to practise their moves, but clearly some of them were more experienced than others. I was just trying the catch as many moves and tricks as I could and only after downloading the photos onto my computer I noticed that I had captured this young man’s crash. Hopefully he got up again as quickly as TE did yesterday.

PS - In the WS photos my dad added, you can see that he got up pretty much unscathed.

Hej Lars,
Ha ha, jag hoppas att han kunde fortsätta med bara några små skrubbsår, som TE igår. Men han måste akta sig: förr eller senare riskerar han att råka riktigt illa ut.
Båda bilderna är vältajmade, förmodligen ett resultat av både skicklighet och tur. Det är väl bara skickliga fotografer med blick för möjlig dramatik som har sådan tur. ;-)

lepi pogledi i opasni trenuci, dobar tekst ...
Lepa scena, dobro poakazno sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.
Tezak pad, ali ide se dalje u nove pokusaje i pokazivanje umeca.
Doabr rad sa dve lepe fotografije.

fabulous flagrant you got showing the same personage in the flight and few seconds after in the landing. excellent quality of image if we think this is a fast moment to fit the movement.
this remind me a lad I saw in paris many years ago, almost breaking his leg and rolling down in pain to try few minutes after, again and again. I guess they should to use some protection. yes. TE is facing the sea again, no icebergs for while.

Hello Lars, a neat comparison with yesterdays TE 'crash'!
Maybe these youngsters have been watching the Olympics and been inspired.
Excellent action shots, your timing on the camera must have been spot on. Although the boy looks in pain, I hope that he managed to continue with his activity.

Hallo Lars,
Tot enigszins mijn verbazing heeft TE dan toch nog een technieker in dienst. Andere problemen aan de site worden echter nooit opgelost.
Je hebt hier de val van de skateboarder mooi en scherp in beeld gebracht. Zijn pijnlijke gelaat zien we op de foto rechts.
Blijkbaar een voorval dat vaak gebeurt want de anderen kijken niet eens op.

I like the 'flying high' in action , very professional and a bit of 'showing off' ... why not with such talent.
But then, bad luck can be expected to happen and it's a bad fall ... Ough!!!, 'Dat doet zeER' :-)
Well, the more he fell the more he's becoming an expert skateboarder like his fellow friends ( shirtless ).

Twee mooie elkaar aanvullende foto’s van deze gevaarlijke hobby waarbij je zomaar een been of arm kan breken. Ik heb mijn foto’s van deze gebeurtenis opgezocht. Mijn serie begint als hij alo de grond ligt. Daarna kan ik zien dat hij meteen weer opstond maar wel een beetje last van zijn rug had. Ik zal ze in je WS toevoegen.

Die man zal wal enkele blauwe plekken terug vinden op zijn lichaam.
Mooi dat u de beide foto's na elkaar plaatst.
