Photographer's Note
Inspired by Aidas Marčėnas’s poem Literatų Gatvė about a wistful young man drinking and smoking with his friends on the street of the same name, the highly recommended permanent outdoor gallery on Literatų is dedicated to writers past and present who’ve all left their mark on the city. Comprised of small, mixed-media prints, drawings and paintings celebrating everyone from Jonas Mekas to Czesław Miłosz to Romain Gary, the gallery, all the work of local artists, grew from humble beginnings in 2008 and now features just over 100 superb pieces.

Hello Aleksandar,
I remember this place well. The small paintings provided you with an attractive and unusual view, but the entire photo is full of nice details among the roofs, windows and towers. The people enliven the photo and the nearest walls frame the view nicely. My only slight objection is that the photo is a bit dark and lacks some clarity.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Sasha,
I was in Vilnius almost exactly one year ago - I remember it well because if was a holiday, 8th May. I was on this street but I do not remember this particular view. Nice composition with so many details, the pictures on the wall, the kid in pink, roofs and towers. Very intersting to looks at.
Kind regrad s Malgo
