Photographer's Note

Some colorful pleasure craft for children. Trakai is a famous castle about 17 km west of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and makes a great day trip. Bus tours are reasonably priced and allow ample time at the lake. The castle is in the bg and only a 5-10 minute stroll away across a bridge. Hello Chris,

Trakai is a really nice place. Of course the castle is the main attraction, but the village itself is also interesting. Very pleasant view of these colourful water bikes with a castle in background.

Hello Chris,

You have combined two quite incongruous features into one quirky, eye-catching photograph. The colourful pedalos dominate the f/g with their youthful, modern appeal so it is quite a contrast to see the sedate, ancient castle peering from the b/g.
A very nicely composed photograph.
Perhaps needs to be just a tad sharper.

The colourful pedaloes make an interesting and unusual frame for the impressive lines of the castle. The image is nicely exposed and has excellent colour contrasts and very good clarity.

La distance entre les bateaux et le château donne d ela profondeur à la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des bateaux et du château, La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Those pedal boats seems to be everywhere! I see a lot of them in San Diego. I like their colors, hard to miss. Good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.
